Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Laravel PHP Developer to join our development team. You will be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining robust, scalable backend systems using Laravel, as well as collaborating with front-end developers to deliver seamless, high-performing web applications.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, and maintain web applications using Laravel PHP framework
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers and front-end developers to integrate user-facing elements
• Design and manage database schemas, queries, and data migrations (MySQL/PostgreSQL)
• Create and consume RESTful APIs and third-party integrations
• Optimize application for speed, scalability, and performance
• Write clean, secure, and well-documented code following best practices
• Participate in code reviews, testing, and deployment cycles
• Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (designers, product managers, QA, DevOps)

Requirements:

• Strong experience with PHP and deep knowledge of the Laravel framework
• Proficient in MySQL or similar relational databases
• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript; Vue.js or React is a plus)
• Experience with version control tools (Git, GitHub, GitLab)
• Solid understanding of REST APIs, MVC architecture, and OOP principles
• Knowledge of security best practices in web development
• Familiarity with tools like Composer, Artisan, PHPUnit, and Laravel Mix

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with deployment tools and services (Heroku, Forge, AWS, Docker)
• Exposure to Agile/Scrum workflows and CI/CD pipelines
• Knowledge of testing frameworks like PHPUnit or Pest
• Familiarity with task runners and build tools (Webpack, Gulp)
