Job Summary:
We’re looking for a driven and creative Publicist Intern to join our team and support our efforts in media outreach, brand storytelling, and public relations campaigns. This internship is ideal for someone passionate about communications, entertainment, culture, or brand development—who’s eager to gain real-world experience working with media, influencers, and public-facing talent or products.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist in writing press releases, bios, media alerts, and promotional materials
- Research and build media lists across relevant industries and outlets
- Help pitch stories and coordinate press coverage
- Support social media and content marketing efforts aligned with PR strategy
- Monitor news, media trends, and industry updates relevant to clients or projects
- Track media placements, compile coverage reports, and maintain databases
- Help organize interviews, events, and virtual/in-person appearances
Requirements:
- Currently pursuing or recently completed a degree in PR, Communications, Journalism, Marketing, or a related field
- Strong writing and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, organized, and comfortable multitasking
- Passion for media, branding, and storytelling
- Familiar with tools like Google Workspace, Canva, or social media platforms
- Eagerness to learn and contribute to a fast-paced, creative environment
Bonus Skills (Not Required):
- Experience with PR tools (Muck Rack, Cision, or similar)
- Interest in music, entertainment, lifestyle, or tech industries
- Previous internship or campus experience in media, marketing, or publicity
